Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard
The wines and beers that we stock at Infinity are all organic. We are also very fortunate to be able to offer our customers a choice of local, award winning wine from Sedlescombe vineyard.
This family run business, surrounded by bluebell woodland and set in the heart of '1066 country' just outside the village of Sedlescombe, near Battle, has been pioneering organic viticulture in the UK since 1979 and is one of only six out of a possible 400 vineyards to adopt organic methods in England.
Proprietor Roy Cook, "I make wines in the traditional way. All fruit is hand picked, which
means only the best bunches are selected. No mechanical pumps, commonly used elsewhere, are used. During maturation, minimal human interference is the rule: several additives are permitted for ordinary wines but not for organic wines. So here they are: pure goodness and full of flavour, just as nature intended!"
We stock the following wines in store: Dry White, Oaked White, Rosé, Bodiam Brut (Traditional Method Bubbly) and Black Cherry Wine.
All Sedlescombe wines are suitable for vegans.
