Brighton has always had a hard core of seasoned gardeners but with an increasing number of keen beginners reaching for their spade for the first time we have been selling more gardening seeds than ever before.
Growing your own fruit and veg can be a lot of fun, very rewarding and extremely good for you. Even if you only have the time and space to sow a few lettuce and rocket seeds in pots, you can still make a healthy addition to your diet and save a bit of money as well.
We stock a wonderful comprehensive range of vegetable and herb seeds by Tamar Organics. All are Soil Association certified organic, free from GM and none are chemically treated.
For those wanting something a little more instant we have a selection of plants supplied to us by a local, organic nursery Greenworld Organics. These fruit, vegetable and herb plants are in organic biodegradable coir pots ready to pop straight out into the garden, window boxes or larger containers.
To help your plants along naturally, we have a liquid seaweed feed by Growganic and a liquid comfrey feed from Tamar – the one to use for those tomatoes and all other fruiting and flowering plants.
