Wine and Beer
The wines and beers that we stock at Infinity are all organic.
Most of our beers and ciders are from the UK and the majority of our wine collection comes from within Europe. Where this is not the case, we endeavour to ensure that the wine we stock is 'Fairtrade' accredited.
We are also very fortunate to be able to offer our customers a choice of local, award winning wine from Sedlescombe vineyard, organic viticulture pioneers since 1979.
When sourcing our wines and beers, consideration is also given to their vegan/vegetarian properties. There is no
obligation on the part of producers to declare the use of animal by-products in the winemaking process and consequently it can be hard as consumers to know which wine to buy in line with our priorities.
Products such as egg whites, casein (milk derived protein), gelatine and isinglass (derived from fish) can all be used as clarifying agents in wine. Conversely, clay derivatives are often used as substitutes in the case of both vegetarian and vegan wines.
At Infinity all the wines and beers that we stock are vegetarian and those that are also vegan are labelled accordingly.
